Harris bro,No offence but I still can`t envisage the real purpose of third force. Dr Hsu said as a watchdog, policing politicians..sound like a good job but do give me a break. I gather the momentum for this force is due the so call in-fighting within PKR or DAP.Don`t you think the in-fighting in political context relates to democracy and if that is the case why are we writing about this as nuisance. There are vague malpractices I heard with CDs but not yet substantiated. Then again what that got to do with current PKR election. In short get on with it people. In fairness a contestant can do whatever he likes cajole or lobby party members as long not involved in kickbacks, getting into bed with members or other dodgy activities like what happened to BN parties. Here, I am omitting the “back stabbing” as it is an omnipresent in whatever politics you look at. That`s why we always say politics is dirty and only the toughest can get to the coveted power. The famous cliche from my fav. Del Boy – only fools and horses – “He who dares win”In all honesty, I have observed RPK and others are seemingly pushing for Zaid, supporting is fine but blinding love is unfair to other contestants including Azmin.Just a week ago in UK, both brainy Miliband brothers and others fought for Labour party leadership contest. Against all odd, an inexperience younger brother won but tell you what, this guy has shown something in his first speech, quite a start from an unknown. UK Media has been slamming the brothers as back stabbing, bloody etc. The truth is both do have alternate views but has acted within labour party spirit and brotherly love, as claimed. We can say the same with Zaid and Azmin. Every contestant got something and may the best man win. Those outside PKR get off it, will ya.From a neutral like me, I don`t see a problem with this infighting. My worry is unable to grasp what clear views, ideas or policies offered by Azmin et all, let alone PKR, DAP or PAS. Substances are at premium in PR. Frankly, I am struggling to know what PR can bring to table if it is in Government. Substance is what matters if we want to progress as nation. I am getting bored with the continuous drumming of corruption, cronyism, no justice or ketuanan, NEP blah..blah..blah. Enough spinning PR and get into real issues or the THIRD FORCE will take over to formulate and debate policies and directions for you. Can DSAI or Hadi Awang or LKS tell me, what is PR? What kind of pact is this? liberal, Socialist lefty or right wing parties. PAS and DAP sound like right wingers to me with the hudud agenda and DAP is just an improved version of MCA. Meanwhile, PKR can`t find their existence. I think this is the “TROUBLED GAP” that the third force can shape Malaysian politics to help PR or create another party that knows its direction. To be honest the CPF is quite wooly and shoddy at best. The third force can be based on centre ground and formulate detail concrete policies. For example, what are the alternatives for NEP or NEM? A Malay friend of mind wants to know what happens if there are no golden spoons. What threshold level of poverty qualifies for assistance to all Malaysian citizens? This is the example of a clear policy that can help to capture the poor malay voters who are still afraid of losing perks and also give piece of mind to all Malays. The indian will be in it too. The respected Penang CM LGE has suggested some policies in recent time which lacks umphh but at least rakyat can debate about the proposals. PR should not undermind the intelligence of common rakyat. Even how poor a rakyat is, he or she knows how much a kilo of rice would cost? Then what is hindering them, a third force can be activated if nothing comes from PR from this front. Enough of my disorder for today, I rest my case.
